Our Mission

Building brighter days for children in the hospital, one LEGO set at a time.

Why We Exist

A hospital stay is one of the hardest experiences a child can face. Days blur together. Routines disappear. The things that make childhood feel normal — playing, creating, imagining — can feel very far away.

The Piece Project was founded on a simple belief: a LEGO set can change that. Not permanently, not completely — but for an afternoon, a morning, an hour, a child can lose themselves in building something. They can feel capable, creative, and joyful.

That's what we're here to do. We collect new LEGO sets from our community and personally deliver them to children receiving care at local hospitals. No complicated process. No overhead. Just pieces, and the joy they bring.

I wanted to do something that actually mattered. Something real. And I realized — a LEGO set is real. The smile on a kid's face is real. That's enough.

What We Stand For

Compassion First

Every decision we make starts with the child. We choose sets thoughtfully, deliver personally, and treat every donation as a gift from one human to another.

Community-Powered

We are entirely community-funded and community-run. Every set donated comes from someone who cares — a neighbor, a classmate, a stranger who wanted to help.

Transparent & Accountable

We share every milestone publicly. You can see exactly how many sets we've collected, where they've gone, and what impact they've had.

Student-Led

This initiative was started and is run by students. We believe young people have the power to make a real difference in their communities.

Ready to make a difference?

Every set donated is a child who gets to build something wonderful.
